Whemt

Located in the Lordcircle forest. Whemt was originally a very small Thorp (~50 settlers) before being revived by adventurers who were operating in the region around 1449ES and growing to what it is now, a village of around 400.

Society

Whemt has ~400 permanent settlers.

The population is about 40% Halfling, 30% Human and 15% Dwarf with the remaining populace being made up of a transient number of adventurers. merchants and travelling folk of various origins as they pass through to other destinations.

Locals are proudly hardy, as they often have to fend off the varied wildlife local to the forest, as well as the occasional band of goblinoids and other opportunistic raiders.

The populace are generally welcoming to those travelling through who stop in town, with the town centre having a large inn and stables for the town size, as well as places for people to restock as they pass through.

Whemt sits in the centre of the Lordcircle forest, at the meeting point of Kymar's major cities. The Capital, Sudmeen through the southern road Lavierdpek to the western road and Tun to the east.
