Kymar ¶

The country of Kymar is located in the centre of the continent.

Inhabitants of Kymar are known as 'Kymarian'.

It has been a hereditary monarchy since 207ES when King Caelron Kijlmyre unified the warring regions that would become the lands of Kijlmyre.

Geography ¶

Kymar is located between the Shieldroe mountains, the Siletos mountain ranges to it's east and the Wyrmgrave Sea to it's south which many of Kymar's towns and cities follow along the coasts of.

Siletos Range ¶

The Siletos are a large mountain range to the north east of Kymar.

Shieldroe Mountains ¶

These mountains are in the north-east of Kymar. With the North Shieldroe stretching around 550 miles from Lavierdpek, to the east. The West Shieldroe mountains being around 600 miles from Lavierdpek to the south

Between the ranges, is a valley used for trade between Kymar and other regions. Lavierdpek sits as the base of this valley.

Wyrmgrave Sea ¶

Is a sea to the south of Kymar.

History ¶

Originally known as Kijlmyre, records are unclear as to when the lands of Kijlmyre became known as Kymar but it's been known formally as such in the court's own writings since ~900ES.

Kymar's Monarchy ¶

King Caelron Kijlmyre ¶

First ruler of Kymar. Born ~185ES. Died 265ES.

King Kijlmyre was a human, who unified the lands of Kymar through conquest. After the unification of Kymar, King Kijlmyre ruled over Kymar until his death at ~75. He was succeeded by his daughter.
